Will Abdominoplasty help with lower back pain due to herniate disc?

I have two herniated disc L5 and S1 . I have had six children so I have extra stomach fat. If I have this removed will it help my back pain? I have had several procedures done that only temporarily helped. I don't want to have back surgery because my mom ans sister both have had it done and they still have problems. Looking for a alternative.

  1. if you are carrying access weight, then they advise you loose it, especially around the tummy. However, you also need to strengthen the core muscles, so exercise is the only way to gain core strength and that in turn will burn the fat. So see a PT and get some core strength exercises sorted out. You could join a Pilate's Class, but with disc problems you need to make sure the Instructor is a PT, someone who knows how disc problem and Pilate's works. Best of Luck
