Weight Loss Tips for FAT DOG? My fiance has a chihuahua that he bought 5 years ago from a gas station (errrr...). She is the SWEETEST dog but ALL she wants to do is EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT. We feed her a high quality dog food twice a day. Until recently, she shoved all of the food into her mouth pretty much at once and swallowed. Now, we have been adding some water to the food to slow her down. We walk her, but not as much as we should. She is 19 lbs...the vet said she should be between 12-14 lbs max...but 4 lbs on such a small dog is a LOT. We really can't feed her less than we are feeding her, from a nutritional standpoint. But she never seems full. Is there anything we can do to help her lose weight? Any tips to make her meals more "filling" and "fulfilling"? We recently got a new puppy and she is nasty to it whenever its meal time because she wants to steal the puppy's food. We don't let her, of course... We want her to be healthy and have a long life. But with the extra weight, we know that is cutting down on that, and her quality of life. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, until about 4 months ago, she was eating a big standard poodle's food at least once a day that my fiance didn't know about, which is why she got so fat. Rather than losing weight since we stopped that from happening, she just stays at 19 lbs. I don't think we are over indulging... she gets 1/4 cup Canidae dry kibble in the AM and 1/4 cup dry kibble at night. She will NOT chew a chew toy unless she steals it from the puppy. Maybe she does have thyroid issues? I mean, she's HUGE. Also, like I said, he got her from a gas station...I highly doubt she is purebred or anywhere even close =) The vet said for her frame 12-14 lbs would be healthy. We also tried green beans as a filler...she dilligently ate around them. She's naughty =(

body fat loss through exercise and diet. tips please? i am going through a stage of bulking up and putting on muscle, and as a result my usual cardio regime is limited. i am happy with this, since i am using my energy to build muscle. in a few months i want to lose fat again for the summer, but wonder what is the best way - hopefully avoiding losing my muscle gains completely. i'm thinking high intensity sprint training (i used to train 100m). are there any other tips anyone could give? i do occasionally like a takeaway so nothing too extreme, but any diet tips would be taken on board and self-motivation is never a problem for me.

I am an ex-athlete that had a high metabolism when I was active...Now that I am a little older it has caught up to me. I am 5'11" and weight about 210 (more of a muscular build though) and need to get rid of the "spare tire". Runnig can be a chore for me because I blew out a knee and still have problems with it... Mind you I do still like to go out and have an occasional drink, which I limit to Vodka and Soda water...I have cut out beer and wine and have cut out most breads from my diet...Where do I go from here. What are some easy eight loss tips that do not involve dieting to lose ten pounds in about a month? I have gained a lot of extra weight. Although our faces aren’t similar, we both have long brown hair and remarkably similar body types and people would often get us confused. We weighed the same and looked almost exactly the same proportionally. Now, she looks like a model. She has a flat stomach that even has definition, smaller arms, legs and face too. She looks great, I was so happy for her. It also gave me a good idea of how I would look once I lose some weight. Her hips were big like mine and I thought I would never get rid of that fat hip look, but her results prove different. I know that even though we had similar bodies that we won’t necessarily show similar results and that everyone’s body is different in the way that it works for them, but I am nonetheless motivated by what I see she has accomplished. One thing that got to me though.. I told her she looked good and asked her how she did it. She simply said ,”I went to the gym and ran til I couldn’t run.” And so I asked her how long that took. She said 2 months. Now, I weigh 160 as did she prior to the loss. She probably weighs about 120 now, maybe even less and that is no exaggeration. This just doesn’t sound possible to me. Everywhere you look you hear “a pound a week” no more than 2 or 3 or else you aren’t doing it safely or permanently. Has anybody actually gotten results like that? Honestly, is it even possible? (I try not to think about this because its something I myself would never consider, but there is a chance that she may have been doing pretty hard drugs too. Cocaine absolutely SHRUNK one of her best friends down from 230 to about 135 and I know this for a fact. She was my best friend too. She didn’t die from it but she’s well on her way if she doesn’t give it up) What do you think? Any tips to speed fat loss?
what are good and not dangerous weight loss tips? im 5 foot 6. weigh about 123. i just want to know how to loose weight so i don't have that ugly fat looking arms, stomach, and thighs/shins. i cant take pills, and i don't want to do anything drastic. i drink protein waters, and i don't eat meat. i eat fruits. but not a lot of veggies. i walk home, and to stores. i don't participate in PE that much but i do run. i know i should start exercising more often. but what else do i need to do?

What are good weight loss tips for mothers? I am a 32 year old mother of a 9 year old boy. Prior to having my son I danced for the university I attended and maintained 150 lbs at 5'7. Since having my son I fluctuate mostly between 200 and 180 carrying majority of my weight above the waist. I do workout occasionally, however have not been able to get below 175. What are some good ab exercises? I'm really skinny and I really don't have any fat in the abdomen area, but I'm trying to get my abs defined. A lot of the articles for ab exercises I'm seeing have things like "fat loss tips for great abs". Since I don't need to lose fat, I'm wondering if I need to do different kinds of exercises than what those articles are suggesting. I'm also doing cardio exercises. Need expert opinions on fat loss? Hey all. Im Male 23, 5ft11, bf% is 11.5, weigh 182-185. My rmr is 1850 cal/day. I am currently doing 500 calories worth of cardio every day (running or biking over 45 min in morning before meals). I lift weights twice per week (bench is up to 200 lbs). Im making sure that I eat my rmr every day (around 4-6 meals) so my metabolism doesnt get too sluggish i hope. I figure since I work out everyday and am relatively active I should be negative at least 700 cal/day (500 through cardio and 200+ through dieting). I drink plenty of water and about a 2 liter of diet pepsi/day (helps the sweet tooth). Does this all sound correct to lose only bf and maintain/gain muscle so I can get my bf down to 6-8%? Any tips to speed or target fat loss or am i doing everything correctly? thanks!

After having my baby I can't stop eating, literally I will gorge myself while thinking I need to stop and I can't. I really am unhappy with myself and I think about losing weight all the time. Does anyone have weight-loss tips? Please help :(? I turned 13 years old on March 1st. I am 5'4 in height and I weigh 122 pounds. In some clothes, I'm just "not fat." It's kind of weird, but I can't explain it. My friends tell me and insist that I am not fat, but every time I look in the mirror, I see a chubby stomach that bulges out and fat thighs that look horrible when I sit down. I just hate having to go in stores and when I find something I really like, it never fits me. And because of my stomach, it bulges over my jeans and it makes them feel too tight. I have just a joined a Gym and would like to know tips on the best exercise programs for max weight loss.? I have just joined a Gym that will open in September. I am so excited cause I feel like I am finally going to take control of my life. I am a 20 year old Aussie female and I am 4'11 and 130 pounds. I wouldn't call myself fat just not in my ideal body. The equipment I would probably use are Treadmill Rowing machine Stepper & Bike and I want to do a Yoga class and a dance class. I'm just curious as to any tips people have about the best machines and classes to use and participate in and appropriate orders. I know that to boost the metabolism you are to eat 5 - 6 small meals a day, but honestly it's almost impossible to do for me. I only ever eat 2 normal sized meals (with the odd apple or biscuit in between) and I have little time to eat 6 meals with uni and work taking up most hours. Would that be a problem? Also, I'm Queen of eating chips while watching movies with my partner. Would I really have to stop that? I'm not after immediate weight loss just a healthier lifestyle. Any tips?

Weight Loss - Flabby Apron Belly/Fat Around Middle - How Can I Get Rid of this without surgery? I have lost just over 3 stone (42 pounds). I still have a long way to go. I have been following the Weight Watchers plan which has worked for me so far. I have been exercising around three times a week but I have been left with a really bad flabby belly, my fear is that I will end up with an apron of fat once I get to my goal weight. I did originally weigh over 18 stone to start with. I have also noticed that around the middle it has just gone really big. 19 YEAR OLD FEMALE NEEDS TIPS ON WEIGHT LoSS....HELP? I recently made up my mind that im sick and tired of being over weight. I've tried to diet and exercise before, but I always end up getting discouraged. I have access to a decent gym in my apartment complex complete with weights, an exercising bike, a treadmill and an elliptical machine. The diet part im sure I can manage since ive done it before and it worked [as I said I get discouraged and just end up stopping the diet], but the exercising part im worried about. I dont care about muscle definition...just fat loss. That's IT. Does anyone out there have a tip or two on things that I could try? My goal is to lose atleast 50 pounds. Doing a 4 week cut for fat loss, how much muscle mass is expected? I am 19 5' 10" I gained 20lbs last bulk I was 150 now I weight 170. I gained a lot of muscle this bulk as I have been lifting much more. I was wondering, now, that I am eating less calories and doing an hour of Cardio everyday how much muscle mass to I potentially stand to lose. The first week I lost about 5lbs, im on week 2 and I feel more slim also. Basically I am just keeping junk foods out of my diet a lote more now so there is less calories from fat, and less fat overall. Im trying to eat more high protien meals to keep my muscles. any tips or if you need any other information let me know
