WeightLoss? I'm having a huge Halloween b-day bash and I need to lose 15 pounds by November 3. to fit into my dress b/c i sorta... u kno gain alot of weight after i bought it ^-^ So if you have a workout suggestion, like cardio, yoga, something like that but not pills or anything that has to do with like eating only like 1 big carrot for lunch b/c that is so unhealthy not to eat enough! your suggestions are welcomed and apprieciated I rly need help ppl >-< nothing is working

Why do people seek shortcuts for weightloss? Why does it seem that people are always looking for shortcuts for weightloss, when they really should just eat right and get a bit of exercise? Is there something I'm not following in the logic?

Besides Calcium and Vitamin D, What Vitamins Help With Weightloss? I am not interested in diet pills, rapid weightloss drinks, hoodia, or anything that is a trend or potentially dangerous. I am interested in something safe and proven. To anyone worried about it, I am exercising, drinking only water (lots of it!), and maintaining a healthy, balanced diet.

Looking for an investor for a weightloss franchise? My wife and I have owned a travel club now for the last 3 years, and we have decided we would like to buy a weightloss franchise called Physicians Weightloss. We have been very successful in our travel business, but it involves alot of traveling for work, and we have a child on the way. We would like to get into another business where we dont have to travel out of town all the time. We have researched this franchise and spoke with several current franchise owners. This is definitely what our next move will be, but we only have half the amount needed to buy the franchise and have enough working capital to get us through the first 6 months with our personal bills. We are homeowners, but have only had the house for 1 year, so home equity is out. We are only in need of approximately $30,000. We could borrow from our parents, as they are well off, however, we are very proud people, and do not like the idea of relying on family and friends to float us money. Anyone have an alternate idea?

What is the expected weightloss on the lemonade/master cleanse diet? I am on day 4 of the lemonade/master cleanse diet. I was just wondering if anyone has done this diet and how much weight they lost. For some reason I haven't lost anything yet and I am almost half way done. (10 day cleanse) I am kind of concerned. How can I overcome a weightloss plateau? I started losing weight about nine months ago. I started out at quite a high weight but have so far lost 120 pounds. How long will it take to notice weightloss? If im doing 2-3 sessions of cardio a week, like treadmill, rowing machine, cross trainer and bike. For about 30 minutes each day. How long will it take for me to see the results? And will I loose massive amounts of muscle aswell? I mean I do weights in the gym too, on mondays wednesdays and fridays. How long a day should I exercise for maximum weightloss? I have about 5 months and I want to be in the best shape possible when I leave on a trip. Right now I'm 19 years old, 5'6" and weight 152 lbs. I started losing weight in June and was 160 lbs then. As far as fitness goes, I can do about 12 pullups on the pullup bar in a row. I want to get a flat stomach(never had one before and am DYING to see it) and put on a significant amount of muscle by then(not like arnold, leaned out). Right now I've been eating around 1200-1400 calories and working out like 30-35 minutes a day. I've been doing the Power 90 plan. I kind of feel like I should do more though(for actual results). Should I do another workout in the evening such as switching up between Tae bo and Pilates? I would even consume more calories if I need to for results. I have a lot of time to kill atm and am willing to use it to its full potential. Thanks.
What is a good protein weightloss shake to try? I didn't know if there were different types for women and men? I want something that provides vitamins I need and maybe an appetite supressant? Any ideas? Slimfast tends to hurt my stomach too much. Anything else?
How long should a morning walk to be to help impact weightloss? Ive started walking every morning first thing when I wake up (put my hair up in bobble, pull my jogging bottoms on and slip into a t-shirt and walk out the door) for around 20mins. Should I walk longer? Keep in mind, I have to get on the school bus at around 7.45, and Ill need time to wash and dress and straighten hair.
can you arrange an appointment with your GP regarding weightloss? its time i lost some weight. in terms of my BMI i am alomost outwith the "obese" category. can i go to my local doctor and talk to them about weightloss or do i need to have something wrong with me to actually see them? i suppose my blood sugar levels are probabl;y too high so i could book an appointment in terms of that, but theres no point jumping to conclusions just yet.
Could recent weightloss have had a negative impact on my asthma? I'm not, and never have been, overweight for my height and I've struggled for several years with forms of disorded eating. Following a chest infection around Easter, my asthma worsened considerably, but it has not improved again as it usually would have. I'm wondering if a concurrent weight-loss of around a stone might have had an effect on my asthma. I've tried to research this myself, but a Google search only brings up reams of stuff on being overweight with asthma.

How can I kickstart my metabolism and increase weightloss -- without the diet pill? For almost a month now, I've started my own workout routine (combination of treadmill, elliptical, jump rope, etc). I haven't really noticed much but maybe some toning, and I know I have a terrible metabolism. Is there some vitamin that could help with my metabolism so I can increase weight loss. I do change my workout around so my muscles don't get used to the same thing, and I'm definitely not looking for a magic pill. Any suggestions?

How do I get perky breasts during/after weightloss? I want to lose wieght but I am worried about my breasts sagging. I am not bothered if I have small breasts but I don't want for them to look all empty and saggy. What kind of weightloss effect does walking have? My lifestyle is extremely sedentary, and I've been noticing the pounds creeping up on me. What if I walked 3 miles every day, meaning I'd spend one hour of walking every day? Would that make a difference? I could accommodate that by parking the car far enough away from the office. I should add that I'm not looking at shedding huge amounts of weight, as I'm relatively comfortable with my weight. I just don't want it to go up any further, or, if possible, I'd like to lower it by about 15% and keep it there.

I've been eating Dannon Light Yogurt religiously but I recently just heard that it's no good for me since it has 'a lot of chemicals' in it.....I guess b/c it's fat free. What questions should you ask your doctor regarding weightloss? I am needing to loss about 45-50 pounds. At 30, I have never before needed to try and lose weight. What are some questions that I shoould pose to my doctor? For that matter, what are some tests I might expect to take (blood work, stress test)? Is it better to see the Family Physician/General Physician as opposed to a specialist?
Why is swimming not a good exercise for weightloss? I've noticed at swimming pools many fat people swimming 50 lengths or more, they must be really fit to be able to do this, so why are they still fat? Also, is there any health benefit in being overweight, in that you're constantly exercising by carrying around the extra weight with you? The fat people I see swimming usually do it with a leisurely back or breast stroke, and I've seen the same fat people in the pool everytime I go there (for months), and they've never got any thinner. Also, my ex-boss used to claim he swam 100 lengths every morning, and he had the biggest gut you've ever seen.
When do you start to see results for weightloss? I got these tips from various places on the internet and have been doing them for a week: Run every morning. I run about 1.8 km in the morning. Drink a lot of water. I always drink a lot of water, I've always loved water so it's not a problem. I drink about three of those aquafina 1 litre bottles in a weekend day and two in a week day. Eat small healthy meals throughout the day. I eat special K for breakfast and I don't eat lunch or supper. Drink Green Tea- havent yet because I'm not a fan of tea... but if it works I might when do you start to see any results, I figured with the running and the sit ups I would notice it right away. I am 140 and 5'5 and I was told that people who are extremely overweight like I am notice fast results at first but I ahven't yet. So what can I do? Is the eating small healthy meals and drinking green tea something I should do too? I want to lose 20 pounds by the end of July and so far I haven't lost even a pound and my clothes still fit the same. I just noticed my stomach is tighter and my legs feel more muscly and I also feel more energized during the day and sometimes it feels like my stomach is still burning (in a good way, it feels kind of neat) during the day is this good?
What are some of your weightloss success stories? For me, I made a resolution to lose weight. I've dieted for about 4 months, and I lost a total of 10 pounds and a couple of inches. I was 5'2" and 128 lbs. to begin with. My main goal was to lose inches and get into shape. Ever since then, I grew an inch and went down to 118 lbs. I feel and look healthier than I did before. Can I jumpstart weightloss by only eating 900 calories a day for a few weeks? I used to be a very active, slim person weighing in at 105-110lbs at 5'4. Since I started an office job I haven't had time for exercise and have been eating pretty poorly, I've manage to gain about 30lbs in the past year. I am looking to get back at my "fighting weight". This past year has trashed my body, all my muscle has turned to fat now and being the athlete I was a year ago majority of my body was muscle. I was wondering if I cut down my calorie intake to 900-1000 a day to kick start my weight loss, then after a few weeks slowly easing back into a work out schedule while adding more calories will that help or hurt my situation. Will lowering my calorie intake even help me start to lose weight? Any responses will be appreciated!
is it safe for diabetics to take weightloss vitamins or tablets? when i was first diagnosed with type 2 diabeties a few months ago i was taking one a day all day energy. i stopped taking them cause i was having side effects from the metformin and wasnt sure if it was from the vitamins or meds. would it be ok to try taking those again? can diabetics take weightloss tablets like slimquick?
How do you find a weightloss spa/ fat farm? I have been watching Inside Brookhaven a lot lately. I am obviously not big enough to go to a place like that, but i would like to prevent that from happening. I was doing really well at staying at a comfortable weight until my mom died a year and a half ago. When she died I lost control of my eating. I need some help to get back on track. My husband wants to help me but I don't know how to tell him how to help me because I don't know how to help myself. Basically I think I need to go away for a couple of weeks and be focused on getting my eating under control and getting back my motivation to exercise. How can I extend my weightloss phases? I seem to hit plateaus rather quickly when it comes to eating well and running. I have to turn it up every week or I stop shedding pounds. Is there anything I can take or do to stop this from happening too soon or at all?
What home guy equipment should I buy - weightloss? I want to loose the fat in particular around my stomach and thighs. I was thinking of buying a mini stepper and a rowing abs and back exerciser. I dont have much money hence why I cannot buy a bike. On top of this i will be doing 50 minutes power walking a day and eliminating certain foods from my diet. What do i need to do to jumpstart weightloss? id like to lose about 10 lbs. i generally eat what i want, drink heavily and dont put on weight. however, the month of september was bad, spent it at home gorging my depression on ice cream. gained about 6 lbs. for the past 2 wks i have only had 5 alcoholic drinks (used to do that in a day), started doing cardio 2-3 and yoga 2-3 hrs/wk. i also wait tables 6 days week which i just started a month ago. ive cut out nearly all processed foods. lotsa chicken cooked in olive oil, whole grains, fruits, veggies, cheerios and 1% milk. i also used to always eat late at nite and ive stopped. dont mean to be impatient but i havent lost a lb or noticed a difference in the way i feel or look...help! HELLO people! i already said that i added fruits and veggies and am eating less!!!
How long before I see the weightloss? So I am trying to lose 80 pounds, and so far I am working out every morning at 6 am and I do weightlifting and cardio till 7:30. I have made a lifestyle change in the way I eat. How long before i start seeing some dramatic results?
cycling and the amount of calories and weightloss? I am cycling at high mountain bike settings Monday-Friday for over an hour long. On weekends I am cycling 1 1/2 hours. Now for the muscles, will they be compact or bulky on the more restraint setting? Also how much weight in one week do you suppose a person starting out can burn/loose.

which is more important in weightloss? eating healthy or eating less calories? like you know how a banana has alot of calories but it's healthy and diet pepsi has no calories but it's not healthy.... some would say drink the diet pepsi to fill you up with no calories and you will lose weight, and some would say eat the banana and it's still better for you so you will lose weight.... BUT which is true?
Is eating burgen bread good for you and weightloss? i saw the commercials after the biggest loser, i was wondering if eating a sandwich with burgen bread with tuna and vegatables in it good weightloss meal in the afternoons? and are other foods that i can eat in the afternoon or for dinner that arent fuits and vegatables, altough i eat alot of fruits and veggies throughout the whole day...i lve eating tomotoes and capsiums alone...lol i know im weird.
