When you decide that it’s time to lose weight, the first option you may try is exercise because you know that alone can ensure you to drop weight in a quick and effective manner. But there are so many types of exercise, and you may not be able to try all of them. Also, not all of them are as effective as running is. In fact, running is the best form of exercise when you wish to lose body fat at a much greater pace. However, there are many people who carry a wrong notion that treadmill gets quicker results than running outdoors. That’s not true because in both cases you tend to lose weight in a similar fashion. There’s absolutely no difference whether you run in the outdoor or restrict yourself to treadmill. On average, you can hope to lose 100 calories when you run a mile. But it’s true that you shed more weight in running than walking. Also, running is more effective than other forms of exercise such as swimming, bicycling, and skateboarding.
