What is a good diet and exercise schedule for a dancer?
If you participate in any type of sport, you will need to maximize the agility that you have so that you can engage in all of the movements that your sport requires. Dancing is one of the most demanding activities that you can engage in, as you will have to be in top shape at all times to be the most productive in this sport. I would suggest that you do a lot of work on the elliptical machine in the gym, as this can aid in reducing the fat content in your body. Also, make sure that you do a lot of toning exercises such as bicep curls and squat thrusts, as you will need to build muscle in your upper and lower body to maintain balance and support your body weight when on the mat. Finally, try to reduce the amount of fats and carbs that you put into your body and maximize the protein and fiber that you ingest. Good luck!
