Is it okay to go running while my legs are healing after doing squats?
I’ve been mixing up my work outs lately between going for a run to cover my cardio and doing aerobics and weight training. I like to run every single day, but I’m worried that I might injure myself if I do it after a hard aerobic work out. Is it okay to go running while my legs are healing after doing squats? I will have done a warm up before doing any work out, and I figure the work out itself will be getting blood to all the muscles that will need it when I run. I asked my doctor and he said he didn’t really know as he was an internist, not a physical therapist. I guess I’ll just continue and hope for the best because I’m absolutely addicted to running, but I need the added exercise to help me lose more weight. I need to get slimmer to keep my health in check. What a vicious circle!
