If you are attempting to gain more muscle mass, the best way to do this is to exercise with strength training activities frequently. Strength training is one of the best ways to improve muscle mass, since it works the current muscle tissue enough to where the need for more is recognized by the body. Over time, this can lead to bigger muscles.

You need to realize that strength training should not be overdone. This activity should be done daily, but not for more than 20 minutes per day at first. If you rarely exercise and then start lifting weights to build more muscle mass for hours every day, you could potentially cause muscle strain or injury. While lifting weights is the best way to increase the size of your muscles, it needs to be done only in moderation, otherwise health problems could occur that might make you not want to lift weights anymore.
